The girls’ varsity softball team had a Non-Conference game against El Segundo on Wednesday, Mar. 7, which they lost 6-0.

However, despite this loss, they believe they are destined for greatness.

“We are definitely better than last year but I don’t think we’re quite to the point of the 2010 team that won CIF yet,” junior Jennifer Eyler said.”I think we’re getting there.”

According to varsity head coach Debbie Skaggs, the team is very young and if they can get the little things right, they will do well this season.

“We have good athletes on our team that just need to start working together as a group,” Skaggs said.
